The Hard Rock Llama Co. is a family operated llama farm in Northwest Ohio.
Our story began in 1994 when we purchased two bred females at the Firecracker llama sale in Reno, Nevada. We intended to have a hobby we could share with our friends Tony, Sandy, Sara, and Stacy Rollins. Two llamas became four, then four turned eight—and most llama breeders know how the rest of the story goes.
Today, the Hard Rock Llama Co. maintains a herd of about forty llamas on our 50-acre farm, purposely chosen for raising llamas. We strive to produce, show, and breed quality stock exhibiting strong conformation and sound minds. We invest heavily in our female herd to achieve our goals, choosing from strong, proven pedigrees. We select males that add “extras” to the breeding equation: intangibles such as fiber, color, and attractive heads and ears.
